Pirate: Golden Gate Bridge Radiowave Hijacking Project plan

This image is a mock-up for a postcard publicizing the event I plan to carry out a work in progress whereby I take over bandwidth of an existing radio station in a limited area and replace it with a broadcast of small texts designed for the space in which they are audible.

Presently I am designing a bike which houses pirate radiobroadcast equipment and an antenna designed for taking over the bandwidth of NPR when I am riding it on Golden Gate Bridge. The radio takeover would be audible for approximately the length of time it takes to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. The intended audience is an accidental on: travelers and commuters. The texts range in nature from texts that specifically address locatedness to meandering musings and odd plays. What remains central in the texts is my concern for language and how it can create, reflect/represent, and ameliorate the decentralization of subjechood in the current condition of anxiety, fragmentation, and dehumanization.

This project will be portable to the bridges of the world!
